The Olympics 2016

As you’re probably aware, we are currently in the midst of the Summer 2016 Olympics, being hosted in Rio. It’s a fantastic time to be British, considering we’ve exceeded all expectations set by ourselves and have scored a whopping 19 golds, 20 silvers and 12 bronzes! That’s 51 medals in total!

The Olympics is one of the only times where Britain really comes together to support one another, with our fantastic athletes such as Mo Farrah, Laura Trott and Tom Daley competing against harsh competitors from all across the globe. Olympic events include Cycling Track, Sailing, Equestrian Events, Swimming and Tennis, it’s no surprise that the games appeal to a vast audience, with such a range of sports.
